Women's Bugaboo Parka
My review is very simple. This is the second Women's Bugaboo Parka I have ordered. The first (blue) was great. The second (purple, referred to above by you) contained an inner lining different from the first. It contained a cloth innerlining that did not have the thumb holder for the hands. Naturally, I was disappointed, because the blue coat had a poly lining with the thumb holder.

Great purchase!
I don't have the chance to try my parka yet because I purchased it toward the end of winter. Even so, I am in love with the color the day it arrived at my front door. I am 5' 3" and XS really fits me well. I can't wait to put it on when I go skiing next time!

GREAT Jacket
I ordered this jacket then read some reviews about it running a little small and started to get worried but when it came and I tried it on it FIT BEAUTIFUL :-) Love it

The style and warmth of this jacket is incredible!
I would recommend this jacket. It keeps me warm and looking good! I am free to move around and still stay warm and comfortable.

Highly recommend for girls with bigger chest structure
I played professional sport in high school and my upper body (shoulders, chest area, arms, and underarms) is a little bit bigger than average. Usually, I am having problems to find the jacket that fits me in those areas and has famine look.. When I got my new Columbia jacket I was nicely surprised.Usualy, I wear XL and I ordered XL. It fits me perfectly and what stroked me that it highlights my limited curves.

Not enough pockets
I bought a Columbia parka for my husband last year and it is great, has many pockets for different purposes. Not this one: it only has 2 on the outside coat, which is absolutely not enough if you intend to ski.
I was really dissapointed because I was forced to carry a backpack to put all the items I was able to carry in my old ski jacket, like phone, camera, drivers license, lip gloss, credit card.

go for the whirlbird
I was trying to decide between this and the whirlbird in teal, and I went for this one because I thought I would like the fleece as a separate jacket as opposed to the puffer type one that comes with the whirlbird- the fleece liner that this comes with is very cheap feeling and I wouldn't wear it separately, it's also not quite the color as in photos. The liner does however fit seamlessly into the jacket so I'll probably just keep it in there. Also, there's a similar teal colored jacket in the clearance section that's on sale from $400 to $200 that I wish I had gotten.

I never thought I could love Columbia more than I do
I ALWAYS order Columbia jackets and I haven't had an interchange jacket in a while. I decided I wanted to consolidate my winter and fall/spring jackets into one. Have the options and just one jacket. The bugaboo has been around for a loooong while, and I decided to give it a whirl because I wanted a fleece on the inside rather than another coat. I couldn't love this jacket more. The price is perfect. It's the best coat ever. The fit is GREAT with the waist and length. It's perfect. The only thing that could have been added is Omni-Heat, but there is the Bugaboo Tech... AND this one is warm enough as it is. *psst* There's Omni-Heat in the pockets :)
I really tried to think of something I didn't like, but I really can't... OH the only improvement could be to have some inside pocket, in the fleece that you can access when the fleece is zipped in. I like my inside pockets.

Perfect for Northwest U.S.
I recently moved to the NW, and quickly realized I needed a nice warm coat that was also extremely waterproof. This fit the bill perfectly! It's an attractive cut and color, and the lining is very soft and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Great product!
Jacket seems very durable and is very warm. Love that it's a 3 in 1. Had a hard time finding one that I liked, but definitely found a winner in this jacket! My only complaint is that the sleeves are entirely too long. I'm 5'2" but big chested so I got an XL and the sleeves absolutely swallow me. I will probably give the jacket to my stepdaughter and try the next size down, but other than that the jacket is a great buy!

excellent fit for a thinner person
Bought this as a birthday gift for my wife who is fairly thin. The coat fits her very well. She likes the contouring of the sleeves. The coat might fit a little tight with multiple layers or with someone who has a larger frame. We have several Columbia ski jackets and such in our family and have never had a problem. Highly recommended.

beautiful coat
This coat is extremely warm with or without the liner in it. However, the sleeves are a little tight when wearing a sweatshirt. I love this coat though.

Made a quick switch, now fits great.
I was replacing a Columbia Vertex Bugaboo parka that is at least 10 years old for skiing. I read all the reviews, opened up my old coat and checked sizing, etc. I had a large before, so that's what I ordered. Let me state that I am not a large size wearer, but have always preferred my ski coats loose. I'm 5'7" tall, weigh about 145, and have an average size chest. As many of the reviews state, it runs small. What they don't state is that it's really the arms of the fleece liner that are small. The armholes are narrow, making the entire fit in the armpits and chest seem tight. The shell is cut a bit smaller in the arms, but alone fits the same. My solution? I put the old fleece liner into the new shell. Zippers line up perfectly, fits as good as the old one does. I'm just going to use the black fleece from the new coat as a golf jacket, it fits well with only a short sleeve shirt on. If you're not ok with a switch like that for $175, don't buy the jacket. Otherwise it performs great!

Elderberry Plaid
I am 5 ft tall and 115 pounds. XS was tight so I got a small which is a perfect fit. The jacket looks great on and I have gotten many compliments. The color online is a bit deceiving. I was expecting red/black and got pink/brown. It is still a stylish jacket. It seems warm but I have not worn it skiing yet. I think it will perform well.

Great purchase!
I was leary buying a coat online as I normally have to try everything on to get a good fit. I usually take a large but bought an extra large to ensure enough room for layering or wearing a heavy sweater. The sleeves are a bit tight due to the extra bulk. Other than that it is fantastic! The wind does not penetrate the outer shell and it's great in the snow! I love the dark Teal color.

I love the Bugaboo Parka
This is my 3rd bugaboo parka and it is my absolute favorite! The two pieces together keep me warm on the coldest days on the mountains. Each piece by itself has high functionality! The black inner liner has a great waist line cut and I get TONS of compliments on the fit. The outer shell is great in wind, rain, and snow! The print was what drew me to this particular parka and EVER TIME I wear it out I hear " I love your jacket".

I love Columbia Outerwear!
The last time I purchased a Columbia jacket was about 10 years ago. So when it was finally time to buy another parka/raincoat, I knew that I wanted a Columbia coat. I love this jacket and it's great for the weather here in the Northeast: those days when it's rainy and cold, but not cold enough for a down jacket. Since my last jacket lasted so long, I expected the quality of the jacket to be the same, and so far it's exceeded my expectations. It's functional and stylish at the same time, and the fit is perfect. Thanks, Columbia, for making such great products!

Love my Columbia Jacket
I've had this Jacket for a couple weeks now and I love it. My only complaint is that the inner (fleece) part of the jacket is a little tight/small. Other than that I love it. It's very warm and comfy. Great outdoor coat.

Not really interchangeable
I bought an 'interchange' ominheat liner, thinking it would work with any other interchange jacket. I really like the liner and it is really warm, but sometimes I think it would be nice to have a shell when it's windy. The omniheat jacket is warm enough in-itself, so I wanted a shell that was not omniheat, and could also serve as a rain jacket in the summer. I thought this would be perfect, plus it comes with a nice fleece. However, the zippers are not the same, and the 'interchange' that is labelled is not actually universal. This has a chunky zipper, whereas the liner that I already have has a thin zipper. So, beware when buying items under that are interchange. I was very disappointed because I thought this jacket was pretty sweet.

Sizing runs small
I loved the jacket. I had to return it for a bigger size. I normally wear a large or sometimes X-Large, depending on fit. I ordered the extra large and was to small through the chest and I am not very big in that area. I loved the color, the style and everything else, just think sizes run smaller than normal. Can't wait for my new one.

Not warm enough
I read all the reviews prior to buying this jacket and thought I was getting a winner. However, I have to say I'm really disappointed in the warmth of this coat. It is simply not warm enough. I find that my arms get cold when I wear this in cold weather (30 degrees). If it's colder (and it usually is in Maine), I really have to bundle up with turtlenecks and sweaters and then the coat gets really tight. Also, it feels as though the outside of the coat retains the cold and feels frozen when you touch it.
However, it looks really good and I get a lot of compliments on it.

I love my new coat! It fits great, it moves great. It doesn't feel too bulky or heavy and does great fighting the northern Michigan winds.

love, love, LOVE this coat!
I have looked everywhere for an XS coat. I am tall and skinny and this is the first time in my whole life that I have actually found a coat that doesn't swallow me whole and make me look absolutely ridiculous! The fit is perfect, not too short, not too wide, just perfect. I got it in lime green and I love the fun, bright color. The interchange system is great in terms of function because I can wear it all year round in all different temperatures. I love the drawstrings at the bottom, because I can make it tight around me when it is cold and windy outside. After shopping around, I think the price is very reasonable for the high quality product that I got. I don't mind spending a little more when I get something that actually fits me just right and will last a long time. I have gotten a ton of compliments and everyone asks me where I got my coat. I am very pleased with this purchase and I will certainly be a Columbia customer from now on!

I'd buy it again!
This is my first columbia purchase and I love it! It is completlywater proof, fits well, and is true in color to the picture. It is warm and made to lookvery well on a woman.

Love the 3 in 1
This jacket works great for Pacific Northwest winters--it's rain repellant, and the removable liner gives it the flexibility I need, depending on the temperatures. It's a little on the snug side with the liner in, but the shell is roomy enough over other fleece jackets.

new coat
This will only take a moment. I got the coat for my daughter, and it was the wrong color. So we returned it and am waiting for the new one in another color. I can tell you this though, she has had another Bugaboo coat for almost 9 years and has loved it. So that's why she's getting another one for this Christmas. And I learned from one of your darling people, Jennifer T. that I can send that coat in and get the broken zipper fixed. Couldn't be happier !! :)))

Sleeves too small
This coat was beautiful and fit perfect except the sleeves are small. I had to return it because I wouldn't have been able to wear anything very thick on under it. It's great for people with skinny arms.

Great coat for Montana!
I bought this coat for my daughter who is going to college in Montana. I wanted her to have something with layers as she snowboards and doesn't always need a heavy coat. This was a perfect solution. Only complaint was that it ran small...and should be available in more colors and patterns!

BEST JACKET I HAVE EVER OWNED
This jacket fits great, it is the best affordable 3-1 jacket i have ever owned. Columbia is my favorite brand and they didn't let me down. I got the sea salt print and it looks amazing, the trim fit is so flattering, it makes me look like a girl in the jacket and not a unisex, or super girly jacket. It is the perfect jacket to wear when i walk to class in Laramie, Wyoming's horrible wind. Only bad part is there is no interior pockets in the liner, only in the shell :(

Perfect with pockets
I love love love my new jacket!! I am six feet tall and it's nit often I can find a jacket with tall enough arms. The blue color is wonderful and easy to match with shoes :) the hood comes down low enough that my makeup is untouched by rain on the way to and from my car. I with there were more pockets in the weatherproof portion because I want to put my hands in my pockets but that's hard to do when I pull my money cell phone and keys out with me every time my noes itches. :) thank you Colombia for making me a great winter coat. :)

Good Coat
The color was a brighter than I expected, but still very nice. The sleeves were a bit long, but all the better for cold weather. I have not had a chance to wear it in cold weather, but I expect it shall be great.

Great Coat!
This coat is perfect for the cold weather in western PA. I love wearing the layers individually. The colors were accurate, shipping was incredibly quick, and it is really well made. The only negative I have is that I'm a little broad in the shoulders and the fleece layer is a tad snug in the shoulders. Other than that it is a fabulous coat!

I love it!
The shipping was accurate! I always have bought my columbia jackets from JCP's. This was the 1st directly from you. I like this one better than any others I've owned. Form fitting but able to keep you warm without looking like a marshmellow! I bought the blue color and actually love using the inside layer all by itself. I high recommend this style to anyone! Well worth the money... I will be able to use it for years to come.

Nice choice-needs more pockets
We purchased this coat for my daughter's semester abroad in Amsterdam, where it is chilly, rainy and travel is by bicycle. So far she is quite pleased. The coat is very comfortable and she stays dry. Not as cold as it's going to get so we'll have to see how it functions in December. It needs more interior pockets!
